Terms and Conditions
Coaching Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
“Services” means all guitar coaching, training, sessions, programs, digital content, and materials provided by Rapid Guitar Results, whether delivered in-person or online.
“Client” means any individual or entity purchasing or participating in the Services.
"Package" means any prepaid block of more than one individual coaching session or any contra agreement with a Client where Services are exchanged for a Client's goods or services in lieu of payment.
2. Scope of Services
Rapid Guitar Results provides guitar coaching and development services for educational and training purposes only.
No services provided constitute medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice.
3. Payment
All Services must be paid in full in advance of the scheduled session or program start date.
For online banking or electronic payments, payment must be made 48 hours (2 days) prior to the coaching session. Any cash payments must be made at the beginning of the coaching session.
Where the Client purchases a Package or block of sessions, payment must be made in full prior to commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Package Validity, Suspension & Lapse
Coaching Packages are intended to be used within a reasonable and continuous timeframe.
If the Client is unable to continue due to personal circumstances (including but not limited to relocation, employment changes, or personal hardship), Rapid Guitar Results may allow a suspension period of up to sixty (60) days from the date of the last attended session.
The Client must notify Rapid Guitar Results of their intention to resume within this period.
Failure to resume or make contact within 60 days will result in:
- The Package being deemed inactive and lapsed, and these Terms being considered breached
- Any remaining, prepaid sessions (including those owed through contra agreements where applicable) being forfeited
No refunds will be issued for unused sessions where the Client fails to comply with these terms, except where required by applicable law.
5. Punctuality and Attendance
Be ready to start on time, as your lesson will end at the scheduled time. If you are running late and know that you're going to be late starting the session, please text, call or use Facebook Messenger to notify me as soon as possible. Consistency in attendance is essential if you want to experience rapid guitar breakthroughs and achieve your guitar development goals.
6. Cancellations and Illness
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled coaching session. This is because Paule cannot reuse your time slot at shorter than 48 hours of notice for another guitarist and there is preparation time prior to your coaching session that Paule dedicates to making your session a success.
If you are unable to attend a booked coaching session for any reason, please contact me as early as possible to notify me. Every effort will be made to reschedule the session at a time of our earliest mutual convenience in the same 5-day period (Monday-Friday) at the sole discretion of Paule.
No shows/any guitarist missing in action automatically forfeits that lesson's fee. Additionally, you will be responsible for all collection costs of any unpaid fees. If a guitarist cancels a catch up lesson for any reason, the lesson will automatically be forfeited. If Paule needs to cancel your lesson for any reason, the lesson will be rescheduled as soon as possible with you for a mutually agreed time.
If a client arrives at the RGR coaching studio with any signs of sickness related to colds, influenza, throat infections, respiratory illnesses, fevers, persistent coughs or any kind of contagious infection, Paule reserves the right to immediately cancel the session.
It is unacceptable to risk Paule's health as a coach or to risk transferring that illness to any other Clients. If a Client is sick, it is their responsibility to contact Paule via phone to let him know the severity of their condition and the guitarist is still required to provide Paule with a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation, because this time cannot be used with another guitarist on short notice.
7. Coaching Rates
Where a Client has an agreed coaching rate for Services that differs from current coaching rates publicly available at rapidguitarresults.com/coaching and the Client does not book a coaching session within a period of sixty (60) days from the last attended session, rates published at the time of booking any new session will apply.
8. No Guarantee of Results
The Client acknowledges that results from guitar coaching vary depending on individual effort, consistency, physical condition, and other factors.
Rapid Guitar Results makes no guarantees regarding outcomes, improvement, or professional success.
9. Health & Safety
The Client agrees to:
- Participate in a safe and suitable environment
- Follow all instructions provided
- Stop immediately if discomfort or strain occurs
- Disclose relevant health conditions
The Client accepts full responsibility for their participation and wellbeing during sessions.
10. Assumption of Risk
The Client acknowledges that guitar coaching involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Repetitive Strain Injuries
- Tendon or joint discomfort
- Muscle strain
The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rapid Guitar Results shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from:
- Participation in Services
- Use or misuse of techniques
- Failure to follow instruction
- Technical issues during online sessions
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable except where required under applicable consumer protection laws in the Client’s country of residence. This is simply because this coaching time has been expressly reserved for that guitarist's development and the coaching session time can't be re-used on short notice with another guitarist.
The only exception to this rule is where a Client is experiencing a genuine medical emergency, at the discretion of Paule.
13. Coaching Participation
Spectators or guests are not permitted in the coaching studio while a session is taking place. Exceptions that are permitted are parents or guardians of Clients under the age of 12 years old and/or with special requirements (once again, this is permitted on a case-by-case basis at Paule's discretion).
14. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property, including Paule's RGR coaching exercises/examples and methodology are copyrighted materials and at all times remain the sole property of Paule at Rapid Guitar Results. All intellectual property rights developed, adapted, modified, or created by Paule in the provision of coaching services will at all times vest, or remain vested in Paule. No license to sell or distribute Paule's materials is granted or implied.
Paule's copyrighted and original coaching materials, exercises and training methodology shall be provided to the student for the purposes of his/her individual use only i.e. single user license. Clients are not authorised to share, copy, distribute, or otherwise disseminate any materials received from Paule and RGR in any form, including but not limited to: online or social media, electronic, physical, or otherwise without the prior written consent from Paule at Rapid Guitar Results. This clause will survive the termination or expiry of these Terms and Conditions.
15. Online Services
The Client is responsible for:
- Internet connection and technical setup
- Maintaining a safe physical environment
- Ensuring appropriate equipment
Rapid Guitar Results is not responsible for interruptions beyond its control.
16. Right to Refuse Service
Rapid Guitar Results reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate Services where:
- Client behaviour is inappropriate
- Safety is compromised
- Terms are breached
17. Confidentiality
You must keep confidential, and not use or permit any unauthorised use of, all confidential information which includes any information that:
- is disclosed to you in connection with the provision of coaching services to you,
- relates to Paule’s Rapid Guitar Results business or affairs, or
- relates to Paule’s intellectual property (including but limited to coaching methodology and coaching content),
whether or not such information or documentation is reduced to a tangible form or marked in writing as “confidential”, and howsoever you receive that information. This clause will survive the termination or expiry of these Terms and Conditions.
18. Communication
The Client agrees that communication via email and/or mobile messaging (including SMS) constitutes valid written communication.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in the Client’s country of residence.
For international Clients:
- United States Clients may have rights under federal and state consumer laws
- United Kingdom Clients under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
- European Union Clients (including Germany and Sweden) under applicable EU consumer protection directives
Where required by law, disputes may be brought in the Client’s local jurisdiction.
20. These Terms and Conditions
Rapid Guitar Results reserves the right to update these coaching terms and conditions policy at any time. Every effort will be made to inform current Clients of changes in a timely manner.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By purchasing or participating in Services, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These terms were last updated on the 4th of May, 2026.
